This used to be one of my favorite hotels. In the last 6 months, this hotel has become terrible. The staff are rude, there is virtually no service, the recption desk isn't even manned. They offer stays with breakfast included but there is no breakfast offered, the kitchen isn't open in the mornings. They advertise free car parking but actually it's charged at £8 per day. Hotel manager is dressed in a tshirt and joggers and understands nothing about customer service. I've never been lied to and spoken to so badly ever before during a stay. A guy sat on reception when i checked in who was dressed very scruffy, didn't have access to the computer to check me in (it was the once and only time I saw someone on reception during my stay). There is a phone number to call left on the reception desk if you need assistance. The house keeping lady had a uniform and was very professional, polite and friendly. There were times I was locked in the hotel because the only members of staff was outside. I am very disappointed. I used to look forward to staying here but I won't be staying at any Best Western hotels in the future.
