«The staff was incredible. From the moment of arrival, we were treated like royalty. Our butler Oscar was incredibly attentive and pool bartender Edwin made us laugh & feel very special. Activities director Ninja always brought the smiles. The poolside grill cook (we didn't get his name) was not only an excellent cook but took care of us in many ways. We had a spectacular vacation and definitely plain on returning!»

This is the pros and cons: Pro: - good price versus its competitors. - great breakfast and lunch buffet with good quality and variety. - 6 different a la carte restaurants where some offer good meals. 1 spacious rooms. «Everything was pretty good inside the property but we noticed we had to take a golf cart to go to the beach and the beach was too crowed, it didn't feel exclusive, we only went there one time, the other bad experience was when we came back from our excursion, they dropped us off at another hotel lobby and almost all the golf carts were out of power so we had to wait a long time. Other than that, we had a very good stay!»

«I absolutely loved Excellence El Carmen. It is a large, beautifully manicured property. It has many pools, bars and restaurants. It also has a different live entertainment every night of the week. Food is also very good. Especially loved room service breakfast, Aroma coffee and desert place and dinners at French, Mexican and Indian restaurants. Staff is also very nice and polite. This place is perfect if you are looking for a relaxing and restful ambiance. Highly recommend!»

«A really nice five star hotel. Our butler Daniel was really helpful and checked in on us daily. The food and drinks were good. We ended up eating mostly at the buffet or room service. You had to check daily what restaurant that would be open and men have to wear long pants and long sleeves shirts to eat there.
