Overall, we had a good stay at the resort, but unfortunately we experienced a very distressing incident with a security staff member named Luis Miguel Suero.
My husband and I placed our bag and towels on an empty chair before entering the adult pool. Out of courtesy, we asked the gentleman sitting next to it if anyone was using it. He clearly said no and confirmed it was fine to use, explaining he was alone. The group next to us (triplet brothers) typically occupied three chairs daily, and the chair we used was not being used.
Despite this, Mr. Suero approached us aggressively and began yelling at us in front of other guests, accusing us of taking someone’s chair. It was extremely embarrassing and completely unnecessary.
The guest next to us was shocked and also reported his behavior. When Guest Services came to the pool to identify him, he continued yelling — even in front of them. The Guest Services representative himself stated that his behavior was completely out of line and unacceptable.
Although the incident was reported to the security department, nothing further was done. We continued seeing him working in the same area for the remaining two days of our stay, still behaving rudely. It was very distressing.
It is disappointing that someone with such hostility and lack of professionalism is allowed to work in a resort environment meant for relaxation.
