Golf-ferier – Karibia

Fantastisk sted med nydelig strand og flott bassengområde. Mye å finne på med både aktiviteter, pool party, escape room osv. Bestilte arrangerte turer fra hotellet til øya Saona og Monkeyland, begge turene var absolutt verdt pengene. Mange ulike restauranter med helt ok mat, noen steder bedre enn andre, men ikke et sted å reise til for en kulinarisk opplevelse.

Nydelig hotell, med snille ansatte, gjestene var også veldig snille! Rolig og fint hotell, med en skikkelig herlig luksus. Her har hotellet og dets ansatte deg som gjest i fokus!

For the price we paid per night (500USDk) we do not recommend. Had to change room upon arrival. Hair from other guests on floor and countertops, a toe-nail was found, and general dirt behind the seating and in corners. Obviously not a motivated cleaner. The second room was a bit better, but much the same with other guests hair here and there. The bedsheets was torn so that had to be changed next day. Toilet smelled sewer. We told about all of this during the stay and they did take action on it (but sewer smell never really stopped). Facilities are old. In sum for material and cleanliness experience, 1 star due to the price we paid. Checked the price during the stay on Bahia’s official sites and even 320USD / night is not worth your money. Simply because you feel a bit grossed out - even in your own hotel room - which should be your relax-zone. We used hotel slippers walking around the room and privat slippers in the shower since we felt it was filthy. Service and personell was good and attentive. Food was OK+. Breakfast good. Lunch: be picky and change where to eat. Dinner:They have «gourmet» restaurant incl in the price. Only eat at these at the evenings. The food was OK to good, but not the experience. It feels like you’re part of an assembly line—they just churn out dishes, serve them quickly, and move straight on to the next table. But hey! All inclusive is all inclusive. Conclusion: max 100usd/night worth or stay away. Never going back

I do have to say that the buffet wasn’t that great for me. Room service was the best at any hour of the day. I really recommend this resort. We absolutely fell in love with the island, but what made our stay especially memorable were all the thoughtful little touches. When we arrived, they surprised us with a bottle of wine and balloons in our room for my birthday, which was such a sweet welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our entire stay. There are a few areas of the property currently under construction, as noted, but it did not take away from our experience at all. We visited toward the tail end of the busy season, and it was absolutely divine andpeaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we were hoping for. We also loved that the main pool is open 24 hours! Overall, we loved everything about our stay, especially the beautiful property, warm hospitality, and wonderful staff. We would absolutely return.
