The place is beautiful and very nice. It is also very easy to get there since they pick you by boat at the airport. Only about 30 minuts trips compared to some other islands where you need a seaplane. The service of the staff is very varying. Some of the very well trained and some of them doesnt seem to care så much. In most resorts where it is all inclusive option, you normaly get tired of the food after a while. In Bandos unfortenately that happend a little to quick. The food is ok but i have eperienced much better food in resorts in Maldives. The thing that surprised me most is what is covered in the all inclusive. I was very dissapointed and if i had known how small the all inclusive options was, we would just go for the full board or maybe even just half board. Still over all a very beautiful place for an okay price.

By the end of the year, we want to thank wonderful people we et this summer. If you want to go to a peaceful, beautiful place with sincerly, friendly people-go to Maldives. And if you want to start vacation 1 hour getting of a plane-go to KURUMBA! Clean , cozy , well kept tropical island with wonderful beaches and carring staff. Alyona at the reseption helped us to find the bungalow fitt us perfectly-sea view, flowers by the terrasse, privacy and a small lagoon, felt like we had it all for ourselves. Zaeem took verry good care of us at our place, we are so impressed by his energy and kindness. Meals at Kurumba were tasteful , plentyfull of choises and delightful thanks to staff at the kitchen like Mr. Kalum - fish chef, what a magican with a wonderful smile! Spesial thanks to Aseela and Shamil who create a pleasent atmosphere during the dining. We were served by a young crew: always smiling , caring and they remembered all our «perks and likes» after couple of meals. Spesial thanks to Hassan, Shimal, Rupa and Faudi. Aproximity to Male gives you choises of different artists and good evening entertainment at the bar, smoothly run by Mr. Hillary and his crew. Spesial thanks to a wonderful girl from Nepal -PROSHANSA, she made us feel so welcomed and at ease.We meet her at our stay at Velingandoo. But this time it feelt like meeting a good friend allover again. LOVELY and Saeed took good care of us at the pool. Upon all we thank everybody for good vacation .

We spent 5 days in a overwater bungalow with view in towards the lagoon. The view is amazing and the bungalows seem to be pretty new. There’s a ladder down to the water so you can go for a morning swin. But beware the strong current during high tide and the sea urchins hiding between the rocks. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are all buffet. We read in the previous comments that the food is very good and it really is. Lots of different things to choose and the dishes varies every day. The staff are also super friendly! Would recommend all inclusive. Between meals you can get snacks and coffee in the bar. Local beer, a selection of drinks and mineral water are included. Unfortunatly you can only get wine during lunch and dinner, not in the bar in the evening. Or I guess you can buy it, but not included. The beach at the resort is beautiful! We didn’t have a problem finding two sun beds any of the days we went to the beach. Not nessesary to bring beach towel. You can get one from the life guard. There’s also a small bar where you can get water, drinks and beer. Would absolutely recommend to take a swim in the reef just a few meters from the beach. The reef is unfortunately almost totally bleached, but there’s a lot of colorful fish. Didn’t meet any sharks, just a sting ray. But there are some black tips swimming around in the reef. We did see a few while going for breakfast. Would recommend this resort!

Har vært 3 ganger på Maldivene. Dette var det enkleste hotellet av de 3. Totalpakken er ok. Bra kvalitet på maten, men ikke noe luksus, og man blir fort lei av samme buffet med små endringer hver dag. Rengjøring er bra. Deluxerom må styres unna. Det er svært langt unna å være fint.

Fantastisk tur, selv med en del dager med skyer og regn. Vi hadde jacuzzi water villa - helt fantastisk. Behøvde ikke tipse, men vi ga noen dollar før vi reiste ettersom vi hadde fått så bra service. Sies at Meeru har den beste maten i Maldivene! Selv med all inclusive må man betale ekstra for a la carte-restaurantene og spa, men dette vil vi anbefale å betale for!! Turen m/fly & hotell kom på ca. kr 50,000 for 8 netter. Drar gjerne tilbake!
