Duxbury Beach
One of the oldest (and most complete) lighthouses in the entire country, Scituate Lighthouse (or Scituate Light, as it’s locally known), is a historic treasure. Built in 1811 by the federal government, the lighthouse has been a beacon for ships for over 200 years. The lighthouse complex includes the Keeper’s Cottage and Light Tower. Accessibility: The grounds around the lighthouse are open all year. The tower is open only during occasional open houses. #lighthouse #sunrise #newengland
