The apartment was comfortable, clean, tidy and convenient for access to the racecourse or for access to York by car. It’s about a half hour walk to the city centre. There's a local bakery and convenience store nearby and we found on street parking for one car.
In the first floor apartment, There’s a small kitchen with a full cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge and washer dryer. The dining table only seats four so you may need to also sit on a bed. The beds are comfortable with bedding and towels supplied. The shower works well but the position of the bathroom cabinet and hanging rails in the bed spaces could be better placed. (A mirror tile in the wall behind the bathroom sink would improve that space and hanging rails where they can be reached would be much safer). The kitchen lacked a tin opener and any small saucepans. Hopefully, that will soon be rectified. The WiFi was great once we worked out how to connect - there weren’t any helpful instructions.
We enjoyed our stay and can recommend it.
