«We had a wonderful two night stay at the Linthwaite House Hotel. Very nice and attentive staff, comfortable rooms and a beautiful location. Upon our late arrival the welcoming staff prepared sandwiches and drinks for us in the lovely lounge area even though the kitchen was closed. We tried the tasting menu which was delicious. The stay exceeded our expectations and we will definitely come again!»

«Hydro hotel occupies an old building with spacious hallways and rooms. No elevators. The rooms do nor have the standard that we have come to expect today, but they are clean and everthing is working. All personell is service minded. On the positive side I was positively surprised by the quality of the food served at dinner: excellent!. »

«Single person whilst very hard working, cheerful and helpful was responsible for the running of the hotel on his own. That means 24 hours of the day and night! There was no dining option on arrival or for the second night. Chef arrived for breakfast only. »

«Apartment is spacious and clean. Location is excellent although you need to find the many shortcuts to the surrounding streets... furniture are a bit old-fashioned, and some taps are separate for cold/hot, as is quite common in the UK... Narrow stairs to climb 2 floors, but this was expected»
