«Lovely property by the river with a spacious room with a balcony overlooking it. Super comfy bed. Modern bathroom with a nice tub, underfloor heating and great L’occitane products. Breakfast was tasty and the staff were super friendly. Parking was available at the property free of charge which was definitely a plus.»

«The owners were lovely. The place was clean and well located. The dining room with fridge and facilities was a great resource. Fantastic stay - highly recommended!»

«We had a wonderful two night stay at the Linthwaite House Hotel. Very nice and attentive staff, comfortable rooms and a beautiful location. Upon our late arrival the welcoming staff prepared sandwiches and drinks for us in the lovely lounge area even though the kitchen was closed. We tried the tasting menu which was delicious. The stay exceeded our expectations and we will definitely come again!»

«Typisk engelsk i flotte, landlige omgivelser.

«Strange entrance to our room as had to hold the fire door open and room door to get the cases in. Room was clean as was bathroom although bath panel very scruffy. Due to the style of sink turning the tap on causes a tidal wave and wets you through so have to use cautiously! Had to pay for parking as didn’t book directly with hotel.»

«The communal areas in the hotel were lovely and the staff were friendly. The room we were allocated however was very disappointing for the price. We paid £194 for one night with a £20 additional charge for bringing our dog. The room we were given felt cramped and as it was on the ground floor, there was very limited natural light. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not great.»

«Shower tap was broken, fridge hummed a lot. Shower was fixed quickly and unplugged the fridge. Everything else was fine.»

«Jeg bodde her 1 natt ifm biltur i Lake District.

«There was no staff , can’t able to contact to manger , it was difficult to enter the property, there was no guidance»
