«The owner was extremely helpful and responsive and the location was perfect. The walled garden was perfect for family to gather on warm days. However, although it’s advertised as sleeping 16, it doesn’t have the living space for 16, either to eat or gather. Other staff at the property were very accommodating and we loved the sustainable aspect of everything in the house. »

«A lovely, clean and modern house, with everything we needed for our short stay. A 7 minute cab ride to the centre of York. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were spotlessly clean.Just a heads up - the bathroom is downstairs, which we didn't notice on the listing, so our fault not the host's, but just to mention in case anyone is concerned about having to go downstairs in the night for the loo!Would happily stay again.»

«Great location, close to town but in a quiet cul-de-sac. Lovely property, well maintained and decorated. Open plan lounge /kitchen downstairs. Very comfortable bed and good quality bedding and towels. Clean, modern bathroom with toiletries and hairdryer provided. Outdoor chairs provided to sit in the quiet courtyard in the front. Perfect property for a couple to visit York. Thanks for a great stay!»

«Lovely townhouse on a quiet street in Fulford. Groceries right around the corner, plus an excellent coffee shop, Kawa House, that offers delicious breakfast. We enjoyed walking along the river into York city center, but also took the bus several times and found it very convenient. The home is large and comfortable. We had two adults and three teenagers so we appreciated the space. The extra toilet off the kitchen was also good since the only full bathroom is upstairs. The hosts were excellent, ...
