«The property feels very secluded even though it’s only 10 mins from town. It’s very quiet and serene. I had expected bugs since that’s usually my experience with the hill country. But not this time. «We loved this place! Clean and comfortable. We loved the connivence to town with the feel of being in the middle of the woods. We saw tons of wildlife. Everyday we saw 2 gray foxes pass through the backyard. There are hummingbirds and deer all around and the view was amazing. There is an empty lot next door and thick woods beyond that. There is another home on one side but it appeared to be vacant during our entire week stay. Across the river is a ranch where we could see goats pass through ...

«A severe storm came through Thursday night before of Friday check-in. I dont know if that caused all the floors to be dirty, but it is very possible that it did. There were only 6 bath towels and no wash cloths in the entire house. Other than that it is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our stay!»

The downside...the spiral staircase to the 2nd bedroom and the "game room" area with the twin beds. It made getting luggage upsairs difficult. We definitely enjoyed our stay though»

Downstairs Queen bed comfortable, upstairs Queen a little stiff.
