«We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was beautiful and very peaceful. We were unable to find an outdoor light to be able to use the pizza at night so we just cooked inside. We loved the electric blankets and the fireplace, although it took a while to get it started as the wood inside was still damp. The gardens were immaculate and we loved the swing set. Definitely a great place for a friends weekend away.»

«There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window »

«Tired cabin although incredibly expensive for one night. Was impossible to find with street signage covered by vines and no numbers on the units. (Guest in next unit called in looking for his unit.) Very poorly maintained with a number of missing light globes and broken fittings (e.g. bathroom soap holder and light fitting above the slippery stairs between the bedroom and bathroom). Stove (rusty in parts) is many decades old. One waste bin for entire cabin. Coffee machine but no capsules ...

«Great location and amenities. Outdoor bath area had a lot of cobwebs. Poor communication regarding windows not being able to be opened. There should be more specific info about each accommodation in the welcome pack and options to contact the owner directly given this was the weekend and the office was closed. »

«This property is quite dated and could use a good TLC such as removing cob webs around the house and the outdoor setting as an example. It felt it had not be used for some time.Unfortunately, the agency "HOLIDAY RENTAL SPECIALISTS' that rented the property, bombarded us with emails and messages after we booked.
