Rancher i Whitby

«Fine old hotel, Good breakfast and fantastic service.»

«Had a great stay in Whitby, lovely area for walks, boat trips and local history. Gary and his colleagues at the reception in the side wing were very helpful. Thanks! »

«We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings»

«The best located hotel in Robin Hood’s bay for parking and ease of access to the old village. Friendly staff. Good restaurant, I had a slight feeling as a solo visitor that I was given one of the poorest rooms and had to ask to be given a more suitable table at dinner. «The shepherds hut was very run down ,dusty skirting boards ,faded bedding and rotting door and steps the shared toilet and shower were not very clean and there was peeling paint on the walls and ceilings. The food in the pub is very good .»

«Situated 15 mins walk from Whitby, perfect for us away from noise but close enough to access quickly. Great breakfasts and staff excellent, friendly and helpful 😎👍»

«Kompakt parkeringsplass rett utenfor døren. Passe stort rom, greie senger. Noe støy fra veien med vinduet åpnet (varm natt). Delt bad med god standard. Hyggelig service, god frokost. OK Wifi. »

«Good breakfast and ok for a short stay»

«The room was described as a “comfort room “ we loved it! It was surprisingly spacious enough, beautiful decor and soft furnishings. The bedding and towels quality were exceptional. Hospitality tray and outlook were lovely. If I had to give a small negative, there was a slight odour in the bathroom, from probably the cloths/ mops used to clean, a bit “ sweaty socks” type of odour which lingered. On another practical preference negative, the restaurant is beautiful, ambient and amazing service ...
