The charm was a little diminished by the Quality Inn approach to cutting as many corners as possible with in room amenities (toilet paper and tissue paper shouldn’t be single ply sandpaper). Can’t fault the staff, though, and they were all very helpful and hard working. »

«An old Victorian house remodelled into a 5 room guesthouse with original fir floors and woodwork. We were in the smallest of the rooms - room 4. A bit tight quarters but fine for our 1 night stay. It had a double bed whose mattress needed replacing - for 1 person it liked be fine but for 2 - the 2nd person kept rolling into the center. We told the new manager and he was great about accepting the feedback. Great staff, a pub/restaurant on site, we’d stay again but in a bigger room with hopefully ...

«Room was perfect for our needs, nice and quiet, and super blackout curtains!
The only suggestion is the rooms need better wall plugs or heavier duty power bars. It was hard to find an outlet to plug in the kettle or cell phone. The supplied charger unit doesn’t fit all phones🙂
