«Bed was clean and comfortable, but otherwise poor. The balcony screen was lying on the balcony, the couch and chair were so saggy you sunk in it, and the chair had a burn in it. The cutlery looked like it came from a garage sale- mismatched, as did the plates ,and the three mismatched drinking glasses, and the completely different bar stools on which to eat in. «This is a great example of glamping (glamorous camping) and if we were 20 years younger, it would have been a fun, quirky adventure. It is a tiny house experience with a lofted bed you reach by ladder and a remarkably effective port-a-potty kind of toilet. The location is amazing and the property is fun. Unfortunately for us, we’re not 20 years younger and the ladder ended up defeating me. If you’re flexible and athletic - give this a try! It’s a definite improvement over a tent »

The beach area was lovely and well maintained, and the property is close to painters lodge and many other amenities in Campbell River. «Our reservation for the weekend was cancelled twice by VRBO. The owner of this property, Scott, was extremely helpful. He helped us fund other dates and contacted VRBO to change our reservation.The property is a nice location but we were dissapponted to see that the photos indicated a noce cabin and we got a basement suite with virtually no windows. The front window was covered by a big equipment, the main bedroom window covered with wood making the room totally dark during a super sunny day. ...
