«**Disappointing anniversary stay** We booked Lanelay Hall over three months in advance for a special anniversary and were looking forward to the luxury boutique experience advertised. We had hoped that booking so far ahead would allow us to be allocated one of the more desirable rooms. Unfortunately, we were allocated Clock Tower 1, an accessible Deluxe Room. «Overpriced. Had a huge bedroom that was, on the whole, pretty clean. Had an issue with grime in the sink. Staff didn't seem to care or offer anything in goodwill. Breakfast was average. Views very pretty. Free parking - a bonus.»

«The staff were wonderful, the food was excellent and the amenities were good quality. I have stayed here a few times with work and the general location is lovely, with a very village relaxed vibe. The outdoor space in the summer months is beautiful.»

«There was nothing we didn't like about the Hotel. The whole hotel has had a massive upgrade / renovation and for the cost of the accommodation, it represents top value. We ate at the restaurant , ( reluctantly ) after reading some less favorable reviews , and decided the reviewers, who had left those reviews must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed.
