«There are just too many thing to list that we enjoyed. We booked this property for for Dads 80th Birthday supprise. The property more than catered for 19 of us with extrem comfort and space. The house and location was just beautiful with 4 acres of Garden to enjoy, along with the open water naterual swiming pond, out door eating area with wood fired Pizza oven and an amazing wood fire hot tub, just brilliant. «We have a lovely stay at the end of August. The house is very comfortable and there was easily enough space for 8 of us and three dogs! The location is perfect for exploring the north Somerset coast and Exmoor, and having the hot tub to come home to each evening was an added bonus, and also the table tennis table, which we all enjoyed. Jane was very responsive if we had any queries and we were even able to check out late since no one else was coming that day. Would highly recommend for group ...

«We have throughly enjoyed our stay at Ember Cottage. It’s a real gem, beautiful inside and out, spotless and with lots of lovely homely touches. Jill & Paul were perfect hosts. It’s in a perfect location for Weston-super-mare and Clevedon, an hour from Bath and Cheddar. It’s close to the M5 so a nice easy journey down and an ideal place to stop off for a few days if travelling further to Cornwall. I would definitely recommend staying here and given a chance, I won’t hesitate to re-book.»

The facilities were great and the listing doesn’t do it justice, all of us who stayed had nothing but positive things to say about the accommodation which was thoughtfully decorated throughout. It was a shame the weather wasn’t on our side the whole time so we could make use of the great outdoor space however we were so lucky with the inside space that it didn’t affect the weekend. «What a great place for a large group to stay. We were a group of 10 friends who based ourselves here for a long weekend. The location is idillic in the bottom of the valley next to the river…it even has its own waterfall and former mill. The parking is ample with an EV charging point. The house was spotless and the kitchen extremely well equipped. We had great weather so we’re able to also take advantage of the BBQ. «We were looking for somewhere really quiet to spend time after Christmas and this really fitted the bill. Weather was terrible so we didn't make the most of the close proximity of Exmoor and the Quantocks, but the cottage is cosy and very well equipped, so we had a great rest in a lovely setting. «This spacious converted barn was perfect for our stay. Larger than it looks in the photos. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of plates, glasses and cutlery. The hosts provided tea, milk and coffee supplies upon approval which was appreciated before going to a bigger shop at the nearby grocery store. There was also salt and pepper. «We had a fantastic stay. The lodges are tastefully and thoughtfully decorated with extra touches eg original art work, vases, lamps, throws etc which make you feel very special and cared for. The accomodation is absolutely spotless. The grounds are spacious and well kept with flower beds in the communal and private spaces.
