"La Bella Casa" Fabulous 4-bedroom townhome near H St & Union Market

Welcome to La Bella Casa! Our fabulous and recently renovated home in Washington DC. Located a few blocks from H St and a few minutes driving from Union Market, the house is perfect for couples, families with children, or groups of friends who want to explore DC while staying at a beautiful and welcoming home.
Closest metro is NoMa -Gallaudet U New York Ave (about 15-20 min walking from the house and about 5 min driving).

The property has 3 levels with a total of 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. There are 5 beds in total that can comfortably fit up to 8 guests.

On the main level you will find a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room and a half bath.

On the upper level you will find a master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bath, a queen bedroom and a smaller kids room (with twin bunk beds). The queen bedroom and the kids room share one full bathroom.

On the lower level you will find a kitchenette and living space, a full bedroom and a full bath.

The house can comfortably host up to 8 guests. There is also one sofa bed in the main living room and one sofa bed in the lower level for a max capacity of 10 guests.

House features open floor plan, stunning kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances. Kitchen is fully equipped for those keen on cooking.

Coffee, tea, sugar and filtered water are complimentary in the kitchen.

All bedrooms are spacious and have beautiful hardwood floors. Comfortable memory foam mattresses in each bedroom.

Toiletries are available in each bathroom. A bath towel, a hand towel and a washcloth will be provided for each guest.

You will find 3 smart TVs, one in the main living room, one inside the master bedroom, and one in the lower level. Please log in using your Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu etc credentials.

In the lower level you will also find board games for the whole family to relax and enjoy. Dining table is also available on the main level.

1 private parking space available in the back of the property. Street parking is also available in front of the property across the street. Please check the street signs for parking hours.

**STAIRS. Property has 3 levels with stairs so it’s not suitable for people with limited mobility.**

High chair, children dinnerware and pack n play travel crib are available for families traveling with infants or toddlers. We also provide mattress and bedsheets for the pack n play crib so your child can sleep comfortably. Please request the pack n play at least a week before your stay.

Fast speed Wi-Fi available throughout the house.

We couldn't fit our van in the guarage, so we had to find street parking which was frustrating. The internet was good. The dining table chair leg came off, it looked like it had been fixed before. The thermastat had a mind of it's own. I had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it down...it went from 70 to 83. The house was perfect size, and the convience of staying all together was nice. I was happy to be able to spend family time. The neighborhood was not that great, but it all worked out.

The house comfortably fit 8 adults, although two had to sleep in the kid bunks. Kitchen had what we needed to cook and location was a quick uber ride downtown. Living room couch was very uncomfortable, but we weren’t at the house for very long periods of time. Neighbors were kind. If you have a vehicle bigger than a small car, you will not fit in the parking garage - be aware of parking signs / times as we ended up with a few parking tickets (had a suburban). Overall a good stay!

The location of this property was great and the bedrooms/bathrooms were very well laid out. There was also plenty of street parking which was nice. We never had to worry about parking by the townhome. However, if you are planning to stay at this location, please know that the kitchen is not well stocked. There were no measuring cups/spoons, baking dishes, mixing bowls, etc. We struggled to cook at the property. We were pretty disappointed. In addition, there was a mosquito problem in the back by the garage. Our group was pretty torn up getting in and out of the car every day.

Great DC house!!!!

Everything about this house is sooo nice! The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is clean and updated, and the beds are comfortable. The hosts are responsive and answered all questions in a timely manner.;) The nearest metro stop is a little over a mile from the house but we were able to walk it easily. Union Market was a fun place to get a meal or drink;)

Nice house in a vibrant neighborhood. Very close to the national mall. NoMa metro station was a 30 min walk, not bad in the mornings. Bikes, scooters, and vsrious ride shares are convenient to this location. One train change and you can be at the Smithsonian stop in about 20 min. Ubering back to this house from the sights was quick and cheap as well. Bedrooms and bathrooms were sufficient for our adult group of 5. Nice stove, microwave, and coffee pot available. More than enough plates, bowls and silverware. Could have used a 2nd pot, but we made due for spaghetti night. Thermostat was a little tricky, found out that some previous renters made some fun settings (watch out for that). WiFi was plenty fast enough for the streaming TVs found in the main living room, lower level living room and master bedroom. Really happy with the stay, would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful Property

Clean, modern property. Coffee, hair dryers and ample kitchen equipment on hand. We had 6 adults using the accommodation and were comfortable in the space. Location is near NOMA. We mainly Ubered around town to restaurants and museums and fairs were cheap.

Great Property

This was a great property for our trip to DC. The place was clean, well stocked, and great updates throughout. The neighborhood had plenty of parking and one small spot in the back. We did need to us uber more than expected instead of metro based on where we wanted to go and what we did. But the price was great and the owners so kind.

DC Trip

We came to DC with 4 adults and 4 teens. The property was great. It was a bit further from downtown than we expected, but we’ve never spent time in DC so we were unfamiliar with the area. We didn’t plan to rent a vehicle, but the public transportation was too far away to walk 20 mins each way on top of all the walking we were doing on our trip. We rented an 8 passenger vehicle but weren’t able to park it in the designated parking spot as it was too tight. Other than that, the property was great for the area. The neighborhood wasn’t spectacular, but we didn’t have any issues and the price was right. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this property for large groups!

Incredible Stay!

Home was very clean, and decorated beautifully!Beds were comfortable, even bottom bed of bunk bed was able to fit a 6ft adult comfortably. Location was perfect to sightsee and central for great food options… there is a single car garage is located in the back of home, but would not recommend trying to park anything larger than a large suv. We drove a Chevy Tahoe, and it worked fine, but a Chevy suburban would have been too big. Claire and Roger were very kind and great hosts! Would absolutely recommend!

Family spring break getaway to DC !

Cherry Blossom Run Weekend

Highly recommend “Bella Casa”. The place was immaculate and the owners were incredibly accommodating. It was an easy Uber ride to everywhere we went. The house had everything we needed, loved the separation of the home. Made it easy for everyone. If you wanted to stay up and chat or just wanted to sleep, everyone was happy. Higly, highly recommend

Wonderful accommodations & host!

The house is conveniently located near a free trolley that takes you to Union Station for easy access to the city. The property was very clean and comfortable. The host was wonderful, informative and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property and host!
