Also, access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was a great perk. The pool and restaurant there are comparable to many of the island's nicer resorts. If you are a scuba diver this house is a great home base for the various South Shore dive spots.»

It is kind of a boarding house situation with different guests in different bedrooms I missed that it wasn't air conditioned in the description. Temp was ok at night but pretty warm mid afternoon. «This was a wonderful house to stay in. We all had our own bedroom with bathroom. The view was fantastic and the access to the beach was close. The items in the house for beach and pool use were very plentiful. The owner provided great check information ahead of time and the property manager, Evan, was very responsive and very helpful with the house operations and local entertainment suggestions. "The resort has some great features, especially the beautiful pools and the excellent check-in experience. The welcome was warm and made a great first impression. Unfortunately, the evenings were disappointing. There was very little nightlife, no real bar atmosphere, and almost everything closed by 9:00 p.m., which made the resort feel quiet much too early. The drinks at the bar were also below expectations, and the bartenders and bar staff didn’t seem particularly engaged or enthusiastic, which affected the overall experience. The property itself is lovely, but extending the evening offerings and improving the bar service would make a big difference."
