Detached village house with garden, located in the heart of a Corsican village, (Ventiseri renovated in 2025 enjoying a 180° sea view from the eastern plain to the bay of Solenzara.

You'll enjoy the sound of silence and the spirit of Corsican hospitality in our family-run village. On site, you'll enjoy your own private garden, which is extremely rare in villages. Depending on the season, the aromatic garden of thyme, rosemary, mint and basil will enhance your meals, unless you'd prefer to have lunch in the garden under the parasol, enjoying casgiu, cold meats and figatellu that you can cook on the plancha.

For a siesta, a deckchair, bench or hammock on the lawn will allow you to relax overlooking the Mediterranean garden near a dry stone wall.....calm and tranquillity are the order of the day... be careful not to disturb the wild boar lurking in the maquis.
You'll have the time of your life, enjoying the Corsican mountains and their rivers and natural pools - less than 15 minutes away is the Travo, ideal for family outings, and U sicretu di a Corsica, with its fresh, crystal-clear mineral waters far from the world (we'll let you in on our secret addresses), unless you prefer the idyllic beaches (some of which are very confidential to those who know them - you'll find their details in a booklet when you arrive) of southern Corsica. Confidence: you start at the beach located 20 minutes from the house, then when it's too crowded, you go back up to the river in cooler water but so mineral on the road to the village.

An ideal base camp for experiencing Corsica, you are 40 minutes from the Aiguilles de Bavella, or the Cité du Sel and the beaches of Palombaggia, Santa Giulia or Tamaricciu, from the Forêt de l'Ospedale, 01 hour from Bonifacio and the Illes du Lavezzi.

If you're a cyclist or hiker, you're close to the Serra di Fiumorbu /Catastaghju du Mare/mare centre stage. You can also reach the villages of Serra or Chisa (from where you can reach the Usciolu refuge on the GR20) via a footpath that starts at the foot of the house.
There is a family-run restaurant 100 metres from the house which serves traditional ‘nustrale’ cuisine, i.e. Corsican cuisine.
The house is heated/air-conditioned - a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (hob, oven, dishwasher, extractor fan, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine) is situated within a living room with TV. A sitting room with fireplace and TV for relaxing and reading. The laundry room is equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
2 bedrooms with storage space, double bed (possibility of 1 extra bed), two bathrooms, one with WC, bath and incredible view of the sea and the plain, the other with shower and separate WC.
Wifi connection, decoration and Mediterranean furniture in light wood, white paint, it's a chic nomad spirit that awaits you. We've been coming from this village for ages, so you'll feel right at home here, vi aspittemu.

If you want to be in a flat block, or in a gite next to another gite, or in a villa, this is not the right address, but if you want to be in a contemporary country house, enjoying both your independence and being in the heart of the paese (village) to meet authentic people and belonging to a Corsican family from the village - benvenutu in casa.
