«We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. «This place was absolutely amazing. We loved it from the time we pulled in. Very beautiful property and the gate pulling in is so pretty. Daniella was very helpful and boy can she cook an amazing breakfast! Make sure to book her breakfast at the property at least once. Not only was the food delicious, Aaron gave us a tour of the vegetable garden with viewing of the resident sloth 'Crash' and frog and bird watching after dinner. "Nice place, but there were a few things that could be better: For being a spa resort with swimming pools and hot springs, there are literally no place in the room to hang your wet clothes. Should be more hangers or racks. The staff was mainly friendly but some of them seemed like they hated the guests. Especially the girl in the gift shop was very unfriendly and not helpful at all."
