«Oh boy...I greatly dislike writing negative reviews. While Chemainus is adorable, the location is fantastic and the exterior is a dream...this aint it. Mouldy drapes, a number of amenities were broken (electric fireplace, mouldy fridge), no wifi, questionably clean bedsheets. And (I have photos as proof) a white substance residue left on the counter next to the bed. I will say that the indoor jet tub was amazing! I swear I heard a cough below us at one point and noticed a little door that looked ...

«Check-in went very smoothly. We arrived slightly ahead of schedule, and Melanie and Don were very gracious in not minding our 20 min early check-in! The kitchenette has everything needed to cook a simple meal!I assumed because of the title of the listing that hottub access was included, and it was totally my mistake that I didn’t closely read the contract sent, but I likely wouldn’t have booked if I’d known it wasn’t. «Very cosy cabana. Everything you need is there which was hard to believe initially. Every time I thought something was missing, there it was.The hot tub and outdoor propane fire pit were highly inviting and enjoyable as well. Random cat popped by and hung out for awhile too. »

«It was clean and the property manager was very responsive. However, he was kinda impulsive to have the shuttle service. He was just pushy and misguiding about the crowded road and even took the longer route to bring us to property. »

«It was a great option for a clean and easy stay after a long flight. I wish I had more time to walk the trails near the house, they looked really nice! The family was also very nice and helpful when I was so so tired. It cost me a little bit in Ubers to get there from the airport, and the house was very echoey, so even though everyone was respectful and quiet I could still hear doors opening/ closing throughout the house during the night etc.»
