«They told me that there’s an upgrade to my room however it is not a harbour view. Then they said “their system made a mistake and gave my room to someone else”, and they can only offer me something not as good. And they call that an “upgrade”. I. The end, they called another guest and swapped our rooms. So I still get a room similar to what I booked - king bed in a suite, with harbour view. The room is fantastic. «I stayed one night and had a fabulous stay! The staff was so nice and welcoming, and my room was really spacious and comfy. The hotel is historic and beautiful with lots of flowers outside. Great location for a walking tour of Victoria!»

«Staff were EXCELLENT. We had an issue with noise from work being done in a privately owned condo. Although the hotel staff could not stop the work and noise, they did everything they could to lessen it's impact for us.»

«It's been a while since I visited Brentwood Bay resort.... And as normal, it didn't disappoint..... We had beautiful weather and that was a bonus, but the staff are awesome, the room we had was great and we even got greeted without a glass of cider at check in.... Nice touch.... I'll be going back there soon 😊👍»

«Views to die for, great amenities, comfortable bed, lovely property. Only drawback is the noise. Sounded like someone was stomping through the floor and water pipe ticked loudly. I put in my earplugs and that helped a lot. Appreciated the dog bowls and treats!»
