«A great all-around experience. Lot's of room to relax, a nice big kitchen with a breakfast bar, and all a stone's throw from Starved Rock. I loved the balcony off the bedroom and the jacuzzi. The Grand Bear lodge has a great bar as well. Great restaurant options between Utica, Peru and Ottawa, or venture over to the Starved Rock state park lodge restaurant.»

«We took a family weekend getaway out of the city to Starved Rock and stayed with this host. From the time of purchase through checkout, the host was accommodating and available. The description of the home was spot on and was stocked with all of the basic needs and more. The grill and fire pit were a huge hit. «Very clean upon arrival and all beds are very comfortable. Plenty of room for 6 adults. I only used the downstairs shower, water pressure and hot water availability was awesome! Communication was a breeze and response time was very fast! Check in couldn’t be any easier. Plenty of towels, extra blankets, toilet paper, trash bags.
