«The view and deck overlooking the harbor were wonderful. Exactly what I was looking for!!Amenities were not up to par. WiFi didn’t work, which made televisions nonfunctional. Kitchen supplies were bare. Bedside tables and light fixtures were dusty.Maintenance issues were troubling. Back door did not lock. Toilet ran nonstop. To be fair, the man at the office did offer to send maintenance, but I felt these issues should have been dealt with BEFORE I arrived. At this price, standards ...

«This property has SO much potential! The area is gorgeous, pool wonderful (although cold bc not heated), vicinity of amenities is wonderful and Starved Rock State Park just 10 mi away is awesome... but the upkeep was awful. And, service at the Red Dog Restaurant on site was awful. Unfortunately, overgrown weeds, broken bedroom blinds, a dirty bathroom, and lack of amenities we actually used were not worth the price. We couldn't wait to get home. :(»

«We recently stayed here for our annual guys weekend and the house had everything we were looking for to have a great weekend. The house was clean, very spacious, and had all the amenities needed. Ryan and Kiki are great hosts. The communications with them was easy and prompt, and the instructions they left were clear and detailed. We also loved the easy access to hiking and fishing. Overall just a great place. »
