While other homes near the beach town of Trinidad are double the rate, our family welcomes you to our "Casa Rosa" a beautiful, charming first time vacation rental.

Our custom home features 4 cozy bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, artfully-crafted wood staircase, oak flooring and ceiling beams. A large slate entryway welcomes you with tons of storage. Step into a quiet reading and piano room that greets you. Guests can relax in the peaceful atmosphere of the house. The bright and sunny living room leads into the well-stocked chef's kitchen. Cupboards are full of full of stainless pots and pans, dishes, plenty of glasses and mugs. Also, complimentary spices, teas are available.

Three windows open out to the grassy lawn. You won't have to worry about a thing! The open floor plan is comfortable for families and friends. There is a glimpse of the ocean upstairs. You can even hear the waves on the beach! Each bedroom is cozy with luxurious bedding on comfortable queen and king on luxurious mattresses. Kids or teens? A playful, open mezzanine area is upstairs with 2 huge beanbag chairs, and a table for reading or games.

Original artwork adorns the home and essential amenities like WiFi and a washer / dryer are provided. Two energy-saving, new heat pumps were installed in 2024, guaranteeing the quiet delivery of heat or cool breeze in the summer! All ages will enjoy the comfort of several quiet and cozy areas. Outside, you can stroll around the house, with a grassy lawn while enjoying beautiful flowers, roses and landscaping. There is a picnic table along with another mosaic one, chairs and a BBQ.

And, by the way--there is a trail to the beach! Take walks on Moonstone, Clam and Trinidad beaches. Check out Patrick's Point a little drive north of Westhaven. And, places to eat? Scores of local cooking talent and menus are available for any type of meal you crave! From fresh to organic hamburgers, we have it!

Whether you're exploring the city or simply unwinding indoors, this awesome retreat is the perfect home base for your getaway. You can't fully explore Humboldt county in a week, that's why our home is now available for the slower-paced vacation. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place. Wander around 2nd St in Eureka and gaze at the many Victorian homes Once again, our home is only available for 30 day rentals, enough time to explore the coast, the village of Trinidad, Cal Poly Humboldt, the charm of Arcata and Eureka, & surfing and hiking in Humboldt County! A two week stay elsewhere is close to our 30 day rate!
Our professional cleaning staff come in @ 2 weeks to vacuum, clean the bathrooms, laundry, to make sure the next 2 weeks are just as tidy and sanitary!
