«Lovely small house right in the heart of Trinidad. Very clean. And very convenient to the beaches and the redwoods. Trinidad is a gem, and I hope it stays largely undiscovered. It’s a perfect place to experience and explore the magic of the Northern California coast with out huge crowds. I’ll definitely be back!»

«I’m sadly back to reality now after spending 4 nights in this beautiful space. We arrived after a long, chilly, rainy drive to a warm and welcoming home away from home. The location was perfect for exploring nearby redwood forests and beaches. We also loved simply hanging out at the cottage… so comfy inside and so peaceful outside. Nikki is a great host, responded right away with any questions we had. Will definitely return!!»

We had a Thanksgiving feast with family members cooking together which can be chaotic, but it turned out to be very enjoyable.»

«Our stay at Bob’s place was perfect. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a landing pad before and after a long day of hiking. The backyard is beautiful and so relaxing to sit out on the patio with a morning coffee. We enjoyed the proximity to nearby Trinidad where we had a couple meals and visited the beach. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely return.»

Prior to our stay, we were in contact with homeowner Phil, who was most gracious with answering questions we had, and later showing us this home, of which he lives about a minute drive away from. This is a remote guest home to stay in, and it is very nice, charmingly and thoughtfully appointed, and has outdoor amenities we appreciated that we have not encountered at other homes. «Our second stay and probably not our last. We love the ease and comfort of this cute little home away from home. Quiet, peaceful and off the beaten path. The peaceful little neighborhood where it is located is driving distance to most of the northern Redwood experiences. including state and national parks, beaches, roadside attractions, etc. Check-in is so easy and hosts are readily available through text. «Great Property! Just enough of everything to make for a great stay! Loved the deck and outdoor space...everything was as stated....great location with quiet neighborhood! (Except for neighbors dogs if got close to fence which couldn't be helped) :) only suggestion would be to replace antique door handle on bathroom and the light switch has an issue in bathroom also. Very minimal issue that you wont know unless we tell you! It was a great stay and when return would rebook if available! Love the ...

«The cottage size and location were perfect for us. The property was beautiful, as well. The cottage was stocked with almost everything you could need, including pans, coffee maker, cooking utensils, games, books, laundry, etc. We easily got to different sites we wanted to see. There were only a couple minor things that were a bit annoying, if that. There was a very small ant problem, no microwave or tissues. Aunt sits could be a little cleaner, as well. But, I would 100% recommend a stay.»

«Cottage was clean and as listed in the description. Check-in was easy. There is a small market nearby for those last-minute items you may want/need. Overall a great place to stay while visiting the redwoods!»

«This property was beautifully kept, squeaky clean and well decorated! Lots of privacy and near the avenue of the redwoods, golf courses and close enough to town for anything you might need. The kitchen is well equipped, they have thought of everything! We will definitely stay here again!»

«My teen son and I very much enjoyed our stay at this home over Spring Break. It is the perfect home base for visiting the Redwood parks. It is challenging to find; look for laminated signs directing you past the farmhouse. The property managers did not give us the key code until we arrived, which was frustrating. Once inside the home it is well-appointed and quite lovely. It had everything that we needed, and we were grateful for the nice kitchen, good beds, white linens (!), and hot showers!»

«We love this place, totally private and secret. John is the perfect host. The couple minutes it takes from town to the SBR… is amazing all by itself. The small secret beach was a bit slippery and muddy close to the bottom but we made it down. The deck is unbelievable and the room was really clean and nice. I would stay again.»

«This was a return trip for us. We'd stayed at the raven house over 10 years ago before we had children. We brought them back for spring break to see the redwoods. It was so fun to come back. The house was even better with the addition of the hottub!»
