On the ground floor, you will find a living room, a modern, fully equipped kitchen, and one bedroom. On the first floor, there is another bedroom and a full bathroom. The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, heating, and air conditioning.

HOW TO GET AROUND

The location of \"L\'Orangerie di Villa Mayer\" allows you to easily explore the village and Parco Mayer on foot. Bus tickets can be purchased on the bus (cash only) or at other authorized points. Please note that bus services are not very frequent and end around ten in the evening. Taxi services are also available but not always easily found in the area. From Como, it is easy to travel by train to Milan and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno). There are also public ferries departing from the Como dock in the city center to other locations around the lake. The nearest airports are Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. A shuttle service to and from the airports can be easily arranged at an additional cost. To get around and stroll along Lake Como, especially in the small towns, it is necessary to wear comfortable shoes.

There are many public drinking fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless otherwise indicated. Tap water is also drinkable. You can bring your refillable bottle!

If you are looking for a relatively easy hike in the area and still want to enjoy the mountain views, the Greenway del Lago di Como is an easy-to-follow path that connects the lake towns from Colonno to Griante and passes through Tremezzo. Look for signs for the Greenway in the area.

In Italy, many shops (especially small ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so plan your shopping accordingly.

Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. For those who wish to swim, however, there are some options. Nearby, there are the Lido di Ossuccio and the Lido di Lenno. In other small towns, there are more small beaches and lakeside bars. The Lido di Bellagio and the gravel beach of San Giovanni await those who want to travel and explore the beautiful town of Bellagio. Locals and visitors also love to go to Nesso, where the bravest swimmers can dive into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall.

Lake Como is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding Pre-Alps do not seem very high, but the climate is still influenced by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Pay particular attention to weather conditions during hikes and bring warm and waterproof clothing!
