Not as expected
5 stars on face book, prices like five stars, but our score stop at 4 stars. Friendly people, nice rooms and nice environment, fantastic dinner in the restaurant.. Then there are room for improvements. With so few rooms and guests, the hotel must be able to serve breakfest with eggs much faster. In the beginning the eggs and tea/coffe came when you finished your breakfast. Cleaning in the room has to be better. We had to complain which helped a bit. With so nice buildings and back yard facilities, it is sad to see that it is not taken care of with more fresh gardering. In the stairway they have nice lamps, but that does not help when most of the lamp bulps are black. It seems to us that the hotel miss a "hands on manager / management" to follow up all these things in order to meet the required standard. We are sure it will be fixed and we will be back and we can also recommend this hotel to others.

Loved it!
Brilliant small hotel with excellent food, comfy rooms and beds, beautiful pool area and close to shops, restaurants and beach, but still very quiet. Loved it!

Fabulous stay
This hotel was a fabulous find! Great location close to the beach, impeccable service, beautiful room, lovely pool area and superb restaurant. If I had to find one thing I didn’t like it was the standard provision of miniature toiletries in the bathroom which is somewhat unnecessary single use plastic. Maybe make them available upon request? But that is the tiniest of quibbles and I totally recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!

Lovely boutique hotel
Lovely relaxed and stylish environment for a 3 night stay. Had an excellent dinner and breakfast is very good too. Great location to walk everywhere and quiet. Highly recommend.

Nice boutique hotel
Fancy boutique hotel in the old town of Tossa. Cosy and nicely decorated rooms, king size bed, exquisite espresso coffee machine. Has a very popular restaurant called Can Sophia (requires reservation). Tasty breakfast although not the abundant self service dining of big hotels. Good pool and beautiful city views from the top.

Un endroit magique!!!
Très bel hôtel, personnel accueillant. Vieille bâtisse rénovée avec goût et du beau matériel, chambres agréables , belle piscine, magnifique jardin, beau restaurant. Bref un endroit de rêve. Seul défaut l’isolation, on entend tout, pour les personnes sensibles au bruit s’abstenir.

I love the amazing feel when you walk into your room. Every detail is considered and it truly feels like a home rather than a hotel room. The staff ( Andrea ) that greeted us explained everything and then showed us how to use the expensive espresso machine in our room

Excellent friendly service by Cayla, Andrea and Michael in the Con Sophia restaurant. It is a bit of a challenge to find directions up to the hotel but once there it is a lovely hotel with a great staff. We will definitely recommend it to anyone who plans to visit the coast of Spain.

Stunning little boutique hotel. It was an anniversary trip and we were met with a bottle of cava in the room which was a lovely touch. The hotel is quiet, peaceful and cosy. Just why we were looking for. Tossa it’s self was great and a beautiful coastal fishing village

Hotel is trendy and interesting with nice rooms and fantastic bathroom and shower. Staff was incredibly accommodating and went way beyond the call of duty helping us out. Would highly recommend.

El entorno es muy tranquilo, perfecto para parejas que quieran disfrutar de tranquilidad y privacidad un fin de semana sin niños. La zona de la piscina tiene rincones muy agradables con higueras y plantas aromáticas como el romero y la lavanda además el personal te mima mucho a tus necesidades para tu comodidad

Lovely place that is worth each penny as it is not cheap. Great staff. Special thanks to Kayla and Andrea for your great attentions. Great location, facilities, surroundings, area, attention to detail. really romantic, private and quiet. Breakfast could be improved with better bread/pastries, great room, excellent restaurant and setting, really clean. Would recommend for all occasions and trips. Would comeback also. thank you :-)

Superbe hôtel idéalement situé !
Le séjour bien que court (une seule nuit) a été d’autant plus réussi que l’hotel était à hauteur de nos espérances ! Cosy, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, du personnel agréable et idéalement situé nous avons tout simplement adoré ! S’il ne devait y avoir qu’un bémol, peut être faudrait-Il changer quelques serviettes un peu vieillottes ;)

Very Disappointing Hotel Experience
We booked for 4 days for our honeymoon. We knew the hotel as we had eaten in the restaurant on other occasions in the past and had seen all the good reviews. It was so disappointing. The standards were very poor - at €400 a night for a superior suite you would expect more. The room was not properly cleaned when we arrived. The bathroom was in a disgusting state with a dirty toilet brush and holder, hairs on the floor and a bathmat with a large hole that was never changed . At no time over the 4 days was the room cleaned properly. The mini bar was never checked. It had been half used by the previous clients. The bin wasn't emptied. The glasses in the room were dirty and the tray on which the coffee machine sat was never wiped. There was no turn down service or any other luxury. Certainly not suitable for anyone looking forward to celebrate a special event. Service was poor - at no time were we even asked if anything was wrong even though we had to complain on the first day about the room. The food in the restaurant was good, but again the service in the restaurant was friendly but not up to the level of the food. Such a shame!

An amazing boutique hotel!
This was truly a wonderful experience. From the beautiful room, to amazing staff to great pool and outside grounds. We are extensive travelers and this was one the best hotels we’ve stayed at in a long time. It has only nine rooms so you fell like a real personal guest. You MUST try their outstanding restaurant, Can Sofia it’s a food and dining lovers experience you won’t soon forget! I can’t recommend highly enough.

Tastefully restored house(s) converted into boutique hotel in old part of Tossa with fantastic views from the roof terrace. You feel as if you out of town with all greenery and pool around but you are actually 2 mins from all husstle and busstle. The restaurant is a must!

Would recommend this to everyone.
Very lovely place. Fantastic location, but not accessible by car. Service was excellent. Food in restaurant was excellent. Needs to have a choice of duvet/blanket - I was too hot in bed.

The best boutique experience in spain
I highly recommend you bring a phone and call ahead; finding this place can be very challenging, the concierge will come meet you and guide you there. The property is fantastic and very unique; much bigger than you first think. The restaurant had great food prepared by an excellent chef. We had such a tough time finding the actual hotel that when we did stumble in the manager stepped up, gave us each a complimentary glass of cava, offered to get our car and park it in their underground parking and comped us the parking rate (10 euros)! The staff was the best Ive seen.

good proximity to beaches and local sites, nice part of town. small boutique hotel with comfy room and nice decor. didn't try restaurant, but room is beautiful and it looks like the meals are of high quality.

An oasis of calm in a lovely traditional resort
A short break to recharge our batteries, the resort and hotel were recommended to us and we were very pleasantly surprised, The hotel has a beautiful pool set in lovely gardens, we will certainly go back again
