«The cabin was very comfortable, clean and with all the necessary amenities. It is in a very peaceful, quiet location and perfectly located for visits to the islands, Glen Coe, Loch Awe etc etc. We had a wonderful stay and were blessed with amazing weather.»

«What an amazing corner of the world. Very remote, peaceful and quiet. The hiking was wonderful. The cabin had everything we needed once we had our kitchen stocked with food. My only advice is that it would be nice to know before arrival that the nearest grocery store is 90 minutes away. We could have shopped ahead of time and saved a 3 hour round trip to Oban. Thank you Allan for a clean modern cabin for 9 days.....»

«This is a fabulous cabin with a beautiful tranquil view over Loch Awe. Lovely and quiet.The ducks and geese were very entertaining! Hot tub is a great experience, takes a wee bit of tweaking to get the fire right if you are a total novice like me. Instructions given are very good. Loved the barbeque hut with its 'viking' feel. Would definitely rent this cabin again. Thank you !»

«My party stayed at the other side of Loch Awe a couple of years ago and were keen to return to the area. Decided on Dalavich after driving past the village previously. The cabin is in a great location with amazing views. Not too far from the loch. The cabin was clean and functional. Great size for the 4 of us. Measures taken due to Covid19 and instructions clear in cabin. Had the most amazing weather! Come to Scotland at least once a year and never had weather as good! The aircon is a great ...

«Our favourite place to visit is the argyll and bute area, coming from the central belt with an eye to moving further north we really appreciate having nature on your doorstep and as a result we fell in love with this place. The hosts are very helpful, giving us updates on the day of arrival was so appreciated. Perfect spot for kayaking, fishing and hiking with a lovely, well kept lodge to return to at the end of the day. We're already looking to go back!»

«Lovely setting , Rowan Cafe was lovely and the staff were great. There is no food currently been served in the grill bar which is a shame but the bar was lovely was cosy. We had a few issues with the cabin but nothing to spoil our holiday.»

«Had an amazing stay here. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed! Super clean, well equipped and very spacious. Host was very attentive and responsive to queries. The only thing I’d say (which isn’t even a negative) but didn’t impact negatively on our stay would be having it more secure to allow dogs to go out slide door within living room area to the back without worrying they’d wander off. Will definitely return. We had an amazing Christmas here and made wonderful memories.»

«Firstly this property is in a beautiful location and there are a number of places worth visiting in the area. The kitchen is excellent and the balcony was well used in the sunny weather. Everything that was promised in the apartment with 2 baths and a sauna. However, as it highlighted in the previous review the bed is not comfortable and the pillows are poor. It seems picky to highlight these things but you do need to sleep and it is a luxury accommodation which we and other people are paying ...
