«This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though).
A genuine Scottish gem.»

«We have been on a ten day round trip through northern Scotland. This hotel is the worst on this trip and within top 5 worst hotels I’ve experienced.
