Not fully a 4-star hotel
Went on a couples vacation. We chose the sunbeds on the upper deck for some quiet, a lot of families and children around the pool. No sunbeds available at arrival, but no problem getting a sunbed the other days. Had to be early to get a parasol. The food was ok but much the same. The wifi was horrible, so just gave that up. Wonderful service from the employes. Nice room. No refridgerator at the room. Would call it a 3,5-star hotel. Excellent with all-inclusive, little restrictions and very flexible.

Veldig bra hotell desverre litt dårlig rengjøring rundt bassenget og ved utearealet gang arealet til bassenget.Men personalet var greie og blie maten ver også bedre en sist vi gjestet hotellet.

Bra service som strekker seg for å innfri behov og ønsker. Fikk sen utsjekk avreisedag. Da vi kom rett før midnatt ankomstdagen sendte de oss rett opp til matsalen hvor vi fikk middag.

Sentral beliggenhet, greit hotell
Vi tilbrakte fire netter på dette hotellet i starten av mai. Hotellet i seg selv er stort og huser mange gjester. Standarden er grei og fasilitetene sådan, dog noe slitt enkelte steder. Beliggenheten er god med gåavstand til strand, togstasjon og sentrum. Til tross for all-inclusive spiste vi bare frokosten på hotellet, som var helt grei. Et overveldende flertall høylytte, middelaldrende briter på fylleferie kan virke noe slitsomt i lengden. Savnet et minikjøleskap på rommet. Alt-i-alt god valuta for pengene.

Ok hotell, kjedelig mat, gode desserter. Burde oppgradere salatene/salatbar og bruke egg i stedet for pulver i eggerøren. Veldig lytt fra gangen på hotellrommet. Ok renhold, ikke fantastisk. Noe gammelt og slitt. Fullt på solsengene ved bassenget veldig kjapt.

Rom og basengområder begynner å bli gamle. Barområdet er fint renovert og hyggelig betjening. Maten i All Inclusive er variert og god. God service også i matsal.

Glimrende
Jeg og min kjæreste hadde en fantastisk fin uke i Torremolinos på marconfort griego hotel. 10 minutt i taxi fra Malaga flyplass, gåavstand til strand og gå gate. Hotellet er oppusset i 2015, rommet vårt var i fin stand. Bodde i 9. Etg Og hadde kvelds sol på terrassen. Anbefaler dette hotellet!

Vårt andrr besøk på Griego. Samme gode mat som sist, meget bra utvalg i forskjellige retter både lunch og middag hver dag. Hotellet ligger perfekt til , ett par minutters gange til gå/shopping gate. Minus er at det spilles sinnsykt høy musikk ofte og det er da umulig å føre en samtale. Musikken er da også tilrettelagt for 18 åringer. Her er det for det meste voksne folk +40, så forstår ikke hvorfor det spilles slik teknomusikk og på ett slik volum. Det er også masse "brautne" engelskmenn her så lydnivået kan være veldig høyt.Utenom dette er hotellet meget bra og kan trygt anbefales. Stig/Norge

Deilige dager på stranda
Britisk for alle pengene. Hadde halv pensjon og det var greit nok. Hadde Ikkje hæla å måtte spist alle måltider her.99 % av gjestene hadde all inclusive. Tungvint at man ikke får handle med kort på hotellets barer/cafe eller sette på rommet. Solsenger ble okkupert fra kl 6 om morgenen og det var alt for få av de.

Dårlige utearealer og trangt, lite plass i solområdene da hotellbygningene sperrer for det meste av solmulighetene. Fikk rom med "utsikt" rett i en bakgård med avlufting og støy fra hotellkjøkkenet, ikke bra!

They advertised it as kiddy friendly hotel. Not at all! Vi got one normal bed that was let's say ok, and one extra bed that was extremly bad! - has one playground, but it saw better days... - right next to tables with chairs and ashtrays. - the pool is from 1,6m - 1,9m without any options for kids - juices are available only in the morning ( all inclusive!!!)same as milk, same as small glasses. - The dnner started at 1900 that is a bit late for a family with small childrens. - for dinner has only sodas, wine, but milk not even for request. We had all inclusive package, to not to worry about anything. We bought our juice, our bottle of water. Only the lowest quality of drinks was included. The food was bad as well. We had an other taste in our mouth about Spain. Sorry to say it, the hotel not was even close to it. All together: we not going back there again :( otherwise: without kids, without all inclusive can be good. cheap enough to forget the bad bed, middle of the city, close to the beach. max 15 min walk allong the main shopping road. The staff was freindly, the transport is good, train-bus i 5min circle,

All experience is very good .The staff and the customer services are the best in this hotel. They went out of the way to help everyone at all times. Hotel was busy but never had any issues specifically to do with dining as staff work hard to us all comfortable.

Ckeckin was quick and smooth, when we arrived in our room it was simple but clean. The hotel is quite dated in some areas which can make it look a little untidy. My biggest let down was the food, the dining area smelt and looked clean but food was not great in my opinion. There was a grill station and meat was never cooked through. I got pork and chicken which were both cold, pink and slimey in the middle. This did not bother me as I could cut around the uncooked pieces. It did make me uneasy having to check every bite that my child had to eat. I had to use the microwave to heat up various dishes then I tried the pallea one evening and the rice was hard and undercooked but the seafood set ontop was dried out under the heat lamps. Next was there was not enough seating for everyone during the evening entertainment. We can not comment about entertainment as we never got to watch it as there was never any seats available.

Good stay
+ Staff were very pleasant at this hotel. Check in was swift and the hotel location is great, only a few minutes walk to the train station. There is a bus service too to one of the beaches. The hotel was clean. The room itself was good, the balcony had good views and caught the evening sun. The room had A/C which was great. The formal dining room (cannot remember the name) was a lovely experience. The all inclusive rate was very good value and the drink selection was good. The hotel has luggage storage facilities available also. - The lifts were unpredictable and slow - often it was quicker to take the stairs to the 6th floor! The food was at times very average, particularly the snacks available during the day. There was a lot of food wastage which was disappointing by guests and perhaps management should consider highlighting this more. The dining room, as it was open plan, was very loud and staff were quite loud removing plates and disposing of food (I appreciate that there will be some level of noise with same but it seemed to be very loud at times). The entertainment as average and often was late starting. The pool loungers tended to be snapped up early in the morning, and disappointedly many of the loungers would be unoccupied during the day but people would leave towels etc on them to reserve them which is rather unfair in ways and perhaps something which management should address. The gym was quite small, but it did have a decent range of equipment.

Awful hotel, pleasant staff in bar / restaurant
The hotel is not a 4* hotel and in my opinion would be lucky to pass as a 3* hotel. Overall, the stay was awful. The security guard was very rude as well. The hotel staff in the bars and restaurants were pleasant and friendly. The hotel is dated and in need of a full refurb. The food in the restaurant and drinks were passable but by no means a 4* hotel / environment. The pool was chaotic and too small an area for the size of hotel. At 9am, it was a free for all with sunloungers stacked and you had to set up yourself, which is pretty dangerous, especially for older individuals. Will not return.

Our Marconfort Griego Hotel is indeed a very busy hotel, with it’s 420 rooms we can have an average occupancy of 750 – 800 guests on this period of the year and some services like the pool area can be overcrowded at peak times. We are frequently praised on the quality and variety of foods which we offer in our two restaurants and we are really sorry to read we did not satisfy your needs. Food waS excellent, property needs updating old fashioned , walls between rooms are paper thin, lots of noise from other rooms . Not enough sunbeds in day or seats outside in evening to watch entertainment, not enough bar staff. Very slow to get served. Overall nice hotel could be great if a bit of money spent on it. For price i paid expected more

We are indeed very sorry that your visit to our Marconfort Griego Hotel did not live up to your expectations.Our Marconfort Griego Hotel is indeed a very busy hotel, with it’s 420 rooms we can have an average occupancy of 750 – 800 guests and unfortunately is not a quiet hotel, especially when the hotel has a high occupancy and we understand the frustrations that can occur during our peak season and we apologise for any inconveniences.
