I will never book with Expedia again. This dump was no where near the destination I wanted. That added to over 6 hours extra travelling and over $120. in added expenses. We booked in, and within 35 minutes we quickly realized this was not the hotel of choice for the entertainment in downtown Toronto, and a mistake was made. Management of this dump absolutely refused any compassion. They offered no compromise and wanted the full rate? We argued we were only here 35 minutes. They said, sorry we have to charge the full amount? They could have had an inconvenience charge, as a courtesy? I couldn't afford to take on the excessive expense, so we were stuck there. I had a previous abdominal aneurysm and heart attack, and an upcoming serious surgery for March 31st. The mental and physical toll this took on me was horrible. Our little holiday getaway was totally destroyed. The hotwl towels had their day and some had staining. They wrecklessly put rednecks on the same floor as us. They had kids in sports teams, and were downing alcohol by the pool while leaving the pool open to go go for their smokes. Drunk, they let these kids run wild in the hallway, screaming and yelling, while racing and playing hockey in the damned hallway?! They were too far gone to even notice their kids gone. Losers. I had to call the front desk repeatedly to send someone to get them out of the hallway. As soon as Security left, the kids returned to the hallway. Finally quiet at about 10:30p.m. Returned @7:30a.
