Subject: Disappointing Experience During Recent Stay
I am writing to share my very disappointing experience during my recent stay booked through Expedia.
I travel frequently and have trusted Expedia for many of my bookings, which is why this experience was particularly upsetting. Upon arrival, the staff were not welcoming, which immediately set a negative tone for my stay. I was assigned a non-smoking room on the first floor that clearly smelled of cigarette smoke. The carpet and curtains were visibly stained, and the bathroom sink was cracked, making the room feel poorly maintained and uncomfortable.
The first room’s smoke smell was unbearable, so I requested a change. I was moved to the room next door, which unfortunately was in even worse condition. I was then informed that there was no other availability, leaving me feeling stuck and extremely disappointed.
As someone who travels often and has booked back-to-back stays through Expedia, I genuinely did not expect this level of quality or service. This has been one of my worst travel experiences, and it has made me question my confidence in booking future stays through Expedia.
I hope you will review this situation and consider an appropriate resolution.
