When we got there for our 4pm check in, the key wasn't ready in the pick up location inside the building. Housekeeping still had the key apparently... We had to wait an extra hour and a half before we could check into the room. This also happened to another group who had a reservation, and we were all hanging out together in the lobby.
When we got into the room, it was NOT the room that I booked. I booked a room for 8 people, we received a room for 5. The "futon" that they had advertised was an air mattress, which had a hole in it, and there was a fold out couch, which was broken so two people could sleep on it, but part of it was broken so it ended up being more like a bunk bed. The actual bed was fine...
But the floor had some wooden paneling missing, the key fob for the garage didn't work (I got in because someone else was coming out at the same time), and the water in the bathroom sink was burning hot.
The only good thing about this room was that it was less than a 5 minute walk away from the Scotiabank Arena.
