For years I have stayed at the north end of topsail island between personal house constructions. Hobby since retirement from Duke. This was the nicest and cleanest rental. Very nicely decorated and as the ad said kitchen was stocked. Used the crock pot three times. Typically have always used local realtor but thought I’d try VRBO. «Excellent communication with the owner. The property was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well set up with cups and plates and pans all new-ish and in good order. Check in and out were easy. The views were fantastic out over the South End to the beach on one side and the sound on the other. It was easy to walk to the beach on either side. Also, we arrived to a lovely bottle of wine and a note left by the owner. Overall excellent stay. Highly recommended.»

«The house is in the perfect location. You can walk or just a short drive to anything you need. The Host and Host’s Manager/housekeeper were very easy to work with and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Everything you need on one floor and rooms and beds were very comfortable.
