Sunny Daze is one side of an oceanfront duplex with its own private entrance and its own decks, sharing beach access only with the neighboring unit. Walk in and the coastal entryway sets the tone: a cheerful welcome sign, a cozy bench for kicking off sandy shoes, and soft woven textures that say vacation has officially started.



First Floor: A king bedroom with an ensuite bath (dual sinks, tub/shower), a smart TV, and direct access to both the oceanfront deck and the hot tub. Down the hall, a queen bedroom with its own smart TV and balcony, plus a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds (four twin mattresses) that kids claim as their own on sight. A full hallway bathroom and a washer/dryer round out this level.



Second Floor: This is where the group naturally gathers. A dining table seats 10, the kitchen is fully equipped with two bar stools for extra elbow room, and the living room's queen sleeper sofa and loveseat face a smart TV and an oceanfront deck that turns golden at sunset. A second king bedroom with an ensuite bath and a sound-facing balcony, plus a hallway half bath, complete the floor.



Third Floor: A queen loft bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom offers a private, tucked-away retreat with a smart TV — ideal for a couple wanting distance from the noise below.



Ground Level: The game room is the heart of a rainy afternoon, stocked with foosball, Pac-Man, NBA Jam arcade, a giant Connect 4, and extra toys and games. Outdoor showers (including an enclosed private one) rinse off sand before it hits the carpet, and beach gear storage keeps chairs, body boards, umbrellas, sun shades, and cornhole ready to grab on the way out.



Large families craving a real reunion: five bedrooms and sleeping for 12 mean nobody's on an air mattress, and the dining table seats the whole crew at once.



Multi-generational trips: the first-floor king suite works beautifully for grandparents who'd rather skip the stairs, while the bunk room keeps grandkids entertained two floors away.

Guest Access:

You'll have full run of the home — all 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, the kitchen, both living areas, and every deck. The hot tub outside the first-floor king suite is yours exclusively, as is the private boardwalk to the beach. Check-in is self-service via a smart lock — no coordinating arrival times or waiting on a key handoff.



The Neighborhood:

Sunny Daze sits directly on the sand in North Topsail Beach, a quieter stretch of the North Carolina coast than its busier island neighbors — wide beaches and water calm enough for little ones to wade right in. Step off your private boardwalk and you're in the surf in under a minute.



Sneads Ferry, across the high-rise bridge, is about a 15-minute drive and worth it for fresh local seafood and a working waterfront that still feels like a fishing town. The rest of Topsail Island — shops, mini-golf, casual restaurants — spreads along Highway 210, roughly 20 to 30 minutes away. Jacksonville, NC and the Camp Lejeune area are about 30 to 40 minutes inland. Historic downtown Wilmington, with its riverfront and boutiques, is about 45 minutes south.



Back at the house, sailing, boating, surfing, and scuba charters all launch nearby, and the beach out front is calm enough for shell hunting and easy swimming most of the year.



Getting Around:

The easiest way to get around is by car. Ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft may be available, but can be limited, especially during peak times—so having a vehicle is recommended for convenience. Free parking is provided on-site. The beach is just a few steps away.



Other Things to Note:

Free on-site parking is available for up to 6 vehicles, so groups arriving in multiple cars, trucks with boats, or a fleet of beach-bound SUVs won't need to worry about street parking or shuttle logistics. Just pull in, unload, and start your stay.



Check-in is after 4:00 PM and checkout is before 10:00 AM (early check-in may be available on request for a fee). Maximum occupancy is 12 guests. Well-behaved pets are welcome. This is a non-smoking property throughout, indoors and on all decks. Please note that routine hot tub and pool maintenance is scheduled periodically during stays; we do our best to give advance notice so a technician's visit to the outdoor area is never a surprise. Starting November 1, all guests with confirmed bookings will need to submit a valid ID and sign a rental agreement through our secure property management software.



Interaction with Guests:

You'll have the entire unit by yourselves! There will be no interaction with guests unless a request is made for additional services. But, we are always available via messages & phone.
