Having taken two buses, and numerous motorbikes, we then had a one hour trek through mountainsides and rice terraces to find the fabled tribal tatoooist; Whang Od. The last mamabatok tattoo artist in the Philippines.
On the way to the tribes of Kalinga last week, these were some of the breathtaking scenes I had l while driving on narrow one lane dirt roads along the high mountains edge. it was absolutely breathtaking. #roadtrip

This is the best place in Batad. Owner is super hospitable and can help with everything you need in the town. If I am coming back to Batad I will stay here. Staff was the best. Accommodations were ok. I booked a chalet with 5 rooms with 5 bathrooms. Although we had enough rooms to fit all of us, we wanted to be in the same unit.

Place was nice but the address on expedia is not the exact address of the property is different. We had a hard time looking for the place, had to call the host multiple times. No wifi.
