New surrounding construction blocking what would have been the original view was unfortunate and main entrance was not well marked. We eventually did find our way without having to contact owner. «The b and b is more like an air b and b. No meals prepared bu supplies were there for breakfast. The bed was a double and I would have preferred as queen. The bed was quite firm also. «My friend (with infant) and I came to the island to visit and soak up some nature. Our stay in Buckley Bay provided beautiful views of the bay, with frequent visits from the seals and otters. The location, while a little ways outside of the main centres, was only a short drive to get to a cafe, nature walks, and restaurants. The house feels very spacious with large bedrooms and ample sitting space to cozy up with a cup of tea or good book.»

«Overall we enjoyed our stay in this modern and clean townhouse but would advise guests that as of fall 2023 there is no view from this unit and there is construction directly outside where the patio and BBQ area. We kept our blinds closed for the duration of our stay. The beach access is a bit tricky as well. «The inside of the house has been completely updated and is very nice. The front deck gets the morning sun and the back deck afternoon sun so it is perfect for enjoying the decks. The location is great for access to local shops and restaurants and the beach. It is on a fairly busy street but that is the trade off for being able to walk to so many places. «We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Water views from almost every room. Watched the seals, sea lions, loons, geese and more… The bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable. Lovely sunsets each evening and even a rainbow one night. The host, Peter, was very responsive. This was a perfect spot to rest, relax and explore the area.»
