«The owner was extremely helpful and responsive and the location was perfect. The walled garden was perfect for family to gather on warm days. However, although it’s advertised as sleeping 16, it doesn’t have the living space for 16, either to eat or gather. Other staff at the property were very accommodating and we loved the sustainable aspect of everything in the house. »

«This is not a luxury house. Cheap second hand uncomfortable furniture, a smelly oven that may not have been cleaned for years (if ever???) and crockery that we needed to wash before we used it. We are not fussy people, but clean and comfortable should be a bare minimum.... Worst of all though was a chirping smoke alarm on the first floor landing, indicating a dead battery. On closer inspection, there wasn't even a battery fitted!! I offered to replace it if the owner couldn't arrange it for ...
