The highlight of the hike has to be the waterfalls at the end of the box canyon. Rock Stalls Natural Sanctuary is a 70 acre private preserve in the Hocking Hills area that is owned and operated by Camp Akita, but the management of Camp Akita also allows access to the general public. The sanctuary is definitely off the beaten path in the sometimes tourist heavy hocking hills area. It offers a quiet bit of respite with beautiful scenery in a box canyon with a creek and waterfalls.

Plenty of privacy inside and outside. Living area was a little crowded but bedrooms, bathrooms & pool area were very spacious. Well appointed kitchen. Hot tub was very accessible & covered so we could be outside but protected from the rain.

Amazing vibe! Fantastic amenities with the hot tub and fire pit and many seating areas! Great cleaning crew - it was spic and span inside! Highly recommend a stay at any of their treehouses!
