«Beautiful house - clean, superb decor, well put together, not too far a distance from Cheltenham city centre. Kitchen well stocked, double fridge freezers, lovely dining space for 8 people. A lot of properties that claim to sleep 8 include bunk beds or sofa beds - not here. There were 5 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - my dad, 81, stayed in the downstairs bedroom which meant he had access to a bathroom without having to use the stairs. "The hotel is fine. The aircon was great (heatwave when we were there). Good room with a fridge, so in general happy with the room. We didn't go to the spa, so I don't know how that is. We did however have dinner at the restaurant one night. The service was so bad and the food was ok-ish, when we got what we ordered. We had to go find someone to order drinks and ask for water, and we tried to make contact with the waiters a long time. The cutlery was also dirty. We saw several other tables (most of the tables) sending their order back. Breakfast also seemed alot like dinner, with dirty cutlery and cups, and no service. It seemed like we could order breakfast from the kitchen (based on the menu on the table stating "breakfast"), but we didn't bother to find someone to order from..."
