«We enjoyed a magical evening on the deck with a stunning sunset and flat calm waters on the harbor. In addition, the deck showcased morning activities in the harbor, as lobster boats were preparing to depart. Our dog Scout was very grateful for the thoughtfully-prepared pet welcome basket that was provided in our room. And the Inn went above and beyond expectations by providing normal services and amenities amidst a town-wide power outage created by a freakishly violent summer thunderstorm.»

«Overall excellent stay. The view of the room was exceptional, and you have easy access to several restaurants -- all offering great small community events and fun. The small beach was also just down the street. Only challenge was parking -- even when you grabbed a spot you could only stay there for four hours, making it difficult to relax.»

«The apartment is really great and everything is brand new. But the agency forgot to send check in instructions, we called them and were all set. Be aware to get instructions 2 days before or call them. In VRBO the location was directly on the water, in reality not at all. If you want to stay in this area, the location is great but we drove every day to Acadia park or supermarket about 25-30 minutes. Yes, I would recommend this accommodation and would like to stay here again.»

«This is one of the nicest rentals we've ever had. It's a lovely, well-furnished house with terrific lake views and an inviting wrap-around porch for relaxing after a long day of hiking. It's a terrific bargain if you want to explore the Bar Harbor area but don't want to pay Bar Harbor rates for lodging. There is no stove/oven, but we were able to cook breakfast and dinner using hot plates/electric frying pans - plus there is a huge outdoor grill. We're planning on coming back with our adult kids ...
