We came to see the total solar eclipse in April – the location was 10 minutes from Fredericksburg, but off a country road so we avoided all the crowds and just relaxed. Everything was in order and working when we arrived. «From the first message asking about the property, Emily was a delight. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable. The house is extremely cozy, has a beautiful backyard with a great fire pit for some late night wine and chocolate. The location is wonderful, walking distance from nice restaurants and bars; please check Reck’em Brewery a few blocks from the house and get the BBQ Nachos, you wont regret. We will be back without a doubt!»

«We loved gathering with our family at this beautiful and quiet farmhouse. It is perfectly set up for a crowd with great indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Lots of very thoughtful amenities! A bit outside of Fredricksburg, but we loved the trees, sunsets/sunrises, wildlife, nearness of many wineries and easy access to Albert Dancehall. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!»

«We had a great stay at the farmhouse! It was very comfortable and quiet with beautiful surroundings. The house was very well appointed including a fenced yard and tennis balls for the pups. My toddler really enjoyed the chickens and peacocks and walking around the pond. Everyone liked sitting on the back porch. Proximity to town was very convenient but felt miles away from the crowds downtown. Would recommend, especially for big groups.»

«This place was great! The hosts kept the inside very clean and honestly had all items that may be necessary to be used. Cooking pans, utensils, single stove burner, radio, etc — which was so nice. We loved how it felt isolated yet still close to town as well as Enchanted Rock. The livestock were also a plus! They came right near the Tiny House and we got some great pictures. Most of all, we loved that we were able to bring our pup and genuinely had the best weekend and stay.»

«Hirschbach Haus was everything we wanted for our friends and family bi-annual reunion. We found a cozy rustic farmhouse that has been lovingly up-dated without removing any of the original charm. Big king-size beds with wonderful linens. More towels in the bathrooms than we could use. Someone had fun with a labeling gun as almost everything was labeled. This made everything easy to find and operate. Tons of silverware, plates and glasses. There was even a Canadian coffee cup that was used daily ...

«We did enjoy the house, location, and amenities. Bring your Kcups and enjoy coffee on the front porch. If you get caught in an evening rain, the gas fp offers a quick warm-up. All in all, very nice. Parking is on the street, but it’s a VERY wide street and quiet area. Only 1-1/2 blocks from the main downtown area. I knocked one star, because I think the toilet area of primary bath was missed in cleaning. A lot of long hair and dust in that area - not the case with the rest of the house. ...
