Tilsworth : All Saints Tower. The tower of this little church in Tilsworth exhibits the brown stone (ironstone I think) that is so characteristic of churches from this point in the county northwards - especially around the Ampthill area.

Centrally located hotel, short walk to city center and to the train station. Restaurant was good, had a couple of dinners there. Parking in nearby parking house with a discount if you remember to register your car registration number walking over to the parking to pick up your car.

Good but old.
It seems clean enough, and the staff was polite and professional. It feels like an old hotel the carpet in my room looked dirty and a part of it was missing, the worst however are the elevators/lifts they are 19 years old and you can tell the middle one is the worst it sounds like it scrapes against ...
