The cottage itself is spacious and homely with every facility you could wish for. We loved it. Lynn has thought of everything and likes to communicate personally to ensure her guests are fully briefed about the cottage, its history and the local area. Fabulous!»

«This property is excellent for a target market of people travelling for work who just need a functional place to sleep and aren't fussy about the conveniences and luxuies usual in holiday let properties. We were happy with our stay because we had full days planned and were only in the property from 10pm to 8am each day, but I wouldn't recommend a holiday here if relaxing at the property would be part of the plan. The staircase is too steep for anyone older than 65ish or younger than 7ish. ...

«Loved the cottage and the welcome was truly wonderful! We did have problems with Maisie as there is no safe place to let her out as the cottage opens onto the road, also all the area around Rutland water is dogs on leads only so sadly no proper exercise there. We did find a truly wonderful walk around Empingham along the river through plantations of newly planted trees and the most incredible display of wildflowers, excellent!»

«Stayed for a few days after Christmas. Ages from 7 to 68, and all felt comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Able to cook large roast dinner. Smaller oven a little difficult to access but can be done. Hot tub loved by all. Microwave, games machine, large Tv all available. Large enclosed garden. Owner reply’s to enquiries almost immediately. Excellent service. Thank you very much.»
