«Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). Thanks for the recommendation of Dougies taxis as well, this was really helpful and they were great with really friendly drivers. Lovely location and house, particularly the garden. Perhaps even better if there were more showers (only 2) but this did not detract from the ...

«Location was great. Walking distance from the main line railway station and easy access to town centre. We walked everywhere and didn't need our car. There is plenty of parking space in front of the house for a car or large mpv. There is a small supermarket just a few minutes walk down the road as well as a selection of great restaurants nearby. The house was clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable!We enjoyed our stay.»

«This was a delightful place to stay and so convenient. The only negative was the dirty/stained carpet which is the first thing you see as you enter. It made me worry that other things were not clean. But we moved past that and enjoyed our stay »

«Absolutely the best organized of the places we stayed so far. This is the 13th of 16 stays. The pictures do not due the location justice. If you have a question on how something works, just look up or around and there is a description on how to use it. A great inventory of things you may need (ex coffee) is supplied. We really enjoyed this place not to mention really close to getting inside the Great Wall around the city. Will definitely stay here again if we ever make it back from the states. »
