THE SPACE

This Deluxe 1BR Villa in the Virgin Grand Villas section occupies two levels and provides a spacious 850 square feet of living area. This is a very well-appointed unit as far as providing almost everything you need to relax and enjoy a home away from home during your stay in St. John.

With the king-size (Westin "Heavenly") bed and the Queen-size convertible Sleeper Sofa, this condominium works well for two adults and up to two children, or perhaps two couples. Also, there is dining capacity for as many as six persons.

One of the outstanding features of this unit is that it comes with a true Full Kitchen. The Kitchen includes: a Bar / Island with two stools; Microwave oven; Stove and Conventional oven; Full sized Refrigerator with Ice Maker; Toaster, Coffee maker, and Blender. Also included is glasses, dishes, and tableware for four; and a complete set of pots, pans, and bowls for food preparation; and Dishwasher.

In addition to the Main Pool complex that is beachfront, these Virgin Grand Villa units up on the hillside also provide Semi-private pools just for the residents in your building. So you can enjoy a refreshing swim or use the gas grills to cook a meal just a few steps away from your unit.

Your unit has it's own Washer and Dryer.

GUEST ACCESS

This is a Resort property, so your Villa will be private, but amenities (Pools, Gym, Lodge, Tennis Court, Game room, playground, etc) will be shared with other guests.

OTHER THINGS NOTE

- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.

- Westin St. John is professionally managed and operated by Vistana, who are part of the Marriott Vacation Club family. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay.

- One FREE parking pass is included with this unit. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee.

- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk.

- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However there is a Washer / Dryer conveniently located inside your unit for your personal use. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk.

- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis.

- BEACH / SNORKEL GEAR: There are many beaches in St John that are stunning in their beauty and fantastic for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. And many are semi-secluded, which adds to their beauty, but also means you won't have access to commercial stores and restaurants while at the Beach.

Since most Guests will be flying, what to bring can be a tricky question due to the additional baggage required. For example, if your family owns and likes larger beach towels, you may consider bringing them, along with any other beach blankets / chairs / umbrellas / coolers / equipment you want at the beach. If you do bring your own equipment, size and weight will factor into that decision. You may even consider purchasing specialty lightweight beach gear for easier packing. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc you can also rent the equipment on St John.

** Environmental/Infrastructure Impact Fee: $175 Extra per Week

The USVI government assesses a US$25 per-night, per-villa Environmental / Infrastructure Impact Fee to vacation ownership Guests, as implemented in 2016. This fee is based on the villa being occupied and will be added to the Guest folio at check-out. Please be aware this additional charge (which totals $175 for the week) is not being charged by me (the Owner) or by the Resort (Westin St. John). This is a fee the USVI government assesses per day / per unit and applies to everyone. This will be billed to you directly by the Resort, and will be separate (and in addition) to any fees paid for this booking via AirBnB.

** Chemical Sunscreen Ban:

Please be advised that effective Jan. 1, 2021, the U.S. Virgin Islands will be restricting the sale and distribution of reef-damaging topical sunscreen products containing oxybenzone and octinoxate (Bill No. 33‑0043). Only licensed pharmacies or drugstores will be able to dispense these sunscreen products. Use is prohibited unless prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider.
