I had high expectations for Margaritaville. Upon checkin, I found out that it is a time share when I was immediately hit up for a meeting to discuss "joining the club". No big deal, I said no. I went to the pool and could not charge food or drinks to my room since the bar and restaurant are not affiliated with the property. Interesting, but okay. Day two, returned from the beach and the room was not cleaned. I called the front desk and was told that they do not clean the rooms unless you stay for at least 7 days. they told me they would clean the room once, but if I wanted it cleaned again, they would charge me $135. They did in fact clean the room, but forgot to replace the bedding for the pull out couch for the kids. I called at noon to let them know and when we returned from dinner later that day, they still hadn't brought the bedding. After a few additional calls, the last of which I was hung up on, I walked down to the front desk and was met with the manager, who was carrying the bedding up to me. There were quite a few staff members that were great, but quite a few who were just sitting around on their phones and not helpful or friendly at all. A few other things, we were at the pool, at 10am one day and they had already run out of towels, I went to watch a football game down at the bar on Sunday afternoon but the TVs did not work, the beach has no shore to even put a chair on. The water was also very disappointing, don't go here!
