Watch the dolphins play in the surf from this spacious 5-bedroom, three-bath home in the quiet neighborhood of Porpoise Point. With the beach right in your backyard, you will find this vacation spot to be your home away from home! The large and inviting living and dining areas open onto a roomy oceanfront deck with various seating options to soak up the sun, take in the panoramic views, and enjoy the ocean breeze. And you don't need to leave the views behind inside. The house features a fully stocked kitchen that also includes a blender, stainless appliances, granite countertops, and bar counter seating for five that is open to a large dining table that seats 8, giving you a variety of indoor and outdoor choices for your morning coffee or a great family meal.

When it is time to feel the sand between your toes, a quick stroll through the backyard takes you to a private boardwalk leading you to miles of beach in seconds. The beautiful, pet-friendly beach at Porpoise Point is excellent for all your favorite beach activities, whether swimming, surfing, fishing, or building the sandcastle of your dreams. Plus, if a little more seclusion is what you are seeking, a short walk to the tucked-away inlet beach with its expansive views of Historic St. Augustine is the perfect destination.

Back inside the home, the third-floor master bedroom provides a spacious retreat with a king bed, a private bathroom, plenty of closet space, and a private terrace that looks over the front of the property. Just outside the master bedroom is a large relaxing loft area with a gaming table and a queen sofa sleeper overlooking the living area and the fabulous ocean views! The views from the loft will take your breath away!

The remaining four bedrooms are on the 2nd and 1st floors. They include two bedrooms with queen beds on the second floor next to a large bathroom, a king bedroom, and an adjacent bedroom with two twin beds on the first floor next to a guest bath. The house will comfortably sleep ten guests, and there is a sleeper sofa with room for two more. There is parking in the driveway for two cars, plus a 2-car garage you can access.

When it’s time to take a break from the beach, take a stroll down Vilano Road, and you will find a full-service grocery store (Publix), liquor store, surf shop, and several restaurants. If you continue down Vilano Road, you will find yourself at the Vilano Pier. Here, you can do some Intracoastal fishing, enjoy the fantastic sunsets, or take in the views of Historic St. Augustine, which lies minutes away just over the Vilano Bridge. In St. Augustine, America’s Oldest City, you will find countless restaurants, shopping, attractions, and more. For a change of scenery, a variety of state parks and nature preserves are just minutes away, offering excellent fishing, paddling, and wildlife viewing, as well as miles of scenic trails for hiking and horseback riding, and the home is just a short drive away from world-class golf, including the world-famous TPC Sawgrass! FABULOUS ESCAPE😎
This is our third time in a year that we have stayed at this fabulous oceanfront property! Directly on the beach with easy access. It was a family getaway. Everyone had their private space and yet we had a nice large area together for meals, games and cards. We will definitely be back in the spring⛱️☀️🙄

Weekend getaway
The house is in a great location-right on the water. We were able to fish and swim. Great views from the deck. Publix was right around the corner and so were other attractions-downtown St.Augustine. The company got right back to me and answered all my questions. The house accommodated our party of 12-both adults and kids. We enjoyed our trip.

MAGICAL SUNRISE EVERY MORNING 😎
Everything about the property is perfect, close to the beach, wonderful deck! Great communication with the property manager. This is a fun place for a family to hang out and enjoy everything that Vilano and Augustine have to offer. Make sure you bring your own beach towels😊

Cozy but dated
The house was conveniently located to the beach and the areas we were going to visit. The wonderful views from the second and third floors were of the beach. The rooms on all three floors allows for extra privacy but the top floor can get very warm if the thermostat is set to comfortable for the second floor. The outside deck table and chairs are perfect for beach watching and are very sturdy.

Great Memorial Day Weekend stay.

Spring Break Reset
We had seven family members staying at the property. Overall we had a lovely trip. The location and view from the house were above our expectations! The house was clean and neat. A few housekeeping updates that need to happen are: the carpet upstairs (this is a must)! It would be helpful if you could make one bathroom ADA-compliant for older guests or at least have one raised toilet. Also, the ice maker is on the blink in the kitchen. However, again, We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Lovely deck with easy beach access. Grocery store and restaurants close by. Garage wouldn’t open with code and I spoke to property manager who said to open from inside the house. Per friendly neighbor, recycling pickup is same day as trash pick up.

This house is in a spectacular location. The deck is a wonderful place to enjoy time together. The inside of the house needs some care…A lot! There is old everything down to bath mats that can’t possibly be contaminate free. Yes it had been cleaned but that is only surface. It needs some deep cleaning and serious updating for the health of those who are renting. The smell of mold was overwhelming when we opened the garage and the downstairs bedrooms and half bath were simply atrocious. The kitchen was well stocked but the cabinetry and interior were not clean. We had paid for it and we made the best of our time together and we are praying for no illness from the stay. We feel that others should be aware before that sign the contract.

A beautiful location
We stayed with a few family members! Everything about our stay, was fabulous from the views of the ocean to the cleanliness of the property to the access of the beach😎 We are originally from Central Florida but we love Saint Augustine because it has so much to offer. We will be back to this property in September❣️

Excellent location!! The kitchen was well-appointed and plenty of room for everyone. We had a wonderful time! Made some lovely family memories! However, when we arrived, the door in front of the dryer was off its track and the handle to the glass door of the shower downstairs was broken. Only gave a 3 star for cleanliness of the home.

Family Thanksgiving
The house was very comfortable and accommodating. It showed its age but that did not affect anything. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our Florida Family and it was wonderful to be back on hometown turf. It was close to St. Augustine and almost right across the street from a large Publix in Vilano.

If you are looking for a "beach getaway" this place is wonderful!!! Private walkway to the beach that is just steps from the St Augustine Inlet. Very nice!!!

Ocean Perfection
We had a wonderful 2 week stay! - loads of great surfing and fishing as this house is close to the jetty / inlet and 4x4 drive-on beach access. We are used to renting in Vilano so we bring our own Fishing rods, boogie boards, chairs, beach towels etc. although this property seems well equipped for out of state folks and so close to Publix and other stores right over bridge. There’s a hose at base of stairs that lead up to deck for rinsing off and a hose up on the deck as well. Wonderful sunrises from deck each morning! Short easy walk down to the beach. We Brought a baby gate to keep dogs from escaping down side stairs off deck. A permanent gate there would be a smart addition for kids / dogs. SOME SUGGESTIONS: more hooks in bedrooms / bathrooms. Needs some Luggage racks, and a good broom to keep up with sandy floors. and Better pillows! We also had to clear weeds from path and prune overgrown plants from walkway to beach so owner should have some basic garden tools there to use ; hand pruner and sharp shovel. Coffee maker is old and should be replaced as it does not have auto shut off. Toilet in upstairs master needs some repair to keep it from running continuously. Overall we really enjoyed this house and it’s location ☀️

Great location but needs updating
Very disappointed that they do not provide any beach towels (had to buy some at Publix) and no usable beach chairs ( the ones in garage are totally rusted and not useable without getting rust all over the towels). The dishes in kitchen are chipped and the house needs some updates. The washer and dryer are ancient. It is a great location directly on the beach. I would say that the internet pictures make it look nicer than it actually is.

We loved the location. This place is tucked away in a quite neighborhood with little to no traffic. It’s half a mile away from Publix and two restaurants. Just a short drive to the historic district. We would definitely stay here again.
