Luxurious historic home with pool, parking, easy walk to downtown

Immerse yourself in the rich history of St. Augustine as you stay in this beautifully preserved home. Nestled within walking distance of all the city has to offer, you are invited to step back in time while enjoying modern comforts. Whether you are here to explore the city or just relax, our amenities are designed for your comfort and enjoyment. The large, well equipped kitchen overlooks the outdoor entertainment space, perfect for lounging in the sun or shade. The large screened enclosure features a salt water pool, sunning areas, hot tub, outdoor dining space and lounge area with TV. Inside, there is a dining area and large living room with vaulted ceiling and loads of comfortable seating. The main bedroom features a vaulted ceiling with en suite bathroom, walk in closet and vanity area. The second bedroom with queen size bed overlooks the 200 year old tree in the front yard. The third bedroom is sunny and bright with two twin beds. Each bedroom has its own TV and charging stations for your devices. Two full baths with showers are upstairs and one full bath with soaking tub is located on the ground floor.
Parking is at a premium in the city, but not here! You will have ample space to park up to six vehicles in our driveway.

This house is beautifully restored, decorated, and immaculately clean! The owners clearly care about your experience - the cleanliness, holiday decorations, special touches, and plentiful supplies were greatly appreciated. Easy walk to town for restaurants/shopping and trolley. I would definitely book again!

Everything was amazing!! House was very charming with modern touches. The kitchen was very well equipped with high end appliances! Close enough to old downtown but far enough away from the crowds during nights of lights. We could not ask for a better place to stay!! Thank you BJ and Carolyn for being attentive with suggestions as well! Great vacation with our adult kids! Loved the house so much!!!

One of the best houses my family has ever stayed in!! BJ and Carolyn are such wonderful hosts. They are very responsive and the house was stocked with everything we needed. The attention to detail was phenomenal. We went at Christmas time and the house was decorated for it! It made the stay extra special. They really make you feel at home for the holidays. And we were so thankful that we did not have to park downtown for the crazy traffic for the Night of Lights! Everything was within walking distance and it made the trip even better.The house is stunning and we loved our stay here. Would definitely stay here again or at any place managed by BJ and Carolyn!

The hosts were most welcoming. The welcome basket with wine and snacks was first rate. From the start of the reservation process the hosts were very quick to respond to my many questions. The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays making our stay quite festive. You also won’t be disappointed by the lovely kitchen, spacious living areas, large TVs everywhere, the hot tub which was the hit with our grands. And the location is perfect. A quick walk to historic areas, but far enough away that it was still quiet. This was truly a first class five star stay. Hope to come back.

Beautiful historic home! Clean! Looks just like the photos! Very accommodating for travelers. Hosts were very responsive and care very much for your every need. Walk to Downtown, churches, shops, restaurants! We will stay again!! So much history to see here is St Augustine

We loved our stay here. The location for restaurants and shops is perfect. The pool area is excellent and the house has everything you need in terms of appliances. The beds are all extremely comfortable and the towels and linens are of a really high quality. The owners had left a lovely welcome pack and also toiletries and washing products. We couldn't fault a single thing.

Five stars honestly doesn’t seem sufficient for this experience. Some of the highlights:Proactive and useful communications from BJ and Carolyn prior to arrival. Fantastic remodel of a historic property. Unbeatable location that blended both proximity to the sites of the historic district and the privacy of a residential neighborhood. And CLEAN! We’re all in agreement we’ll be rebooking here on our next trip to St. Augustine!

Our favorite property we've ever stayed at thru VRBO

This home is excellent in every way. It is very well appointed and well stocked with literally everything you could possible need. The host was easy to communicate with and the extra touch of leaving a welcome basket was very much appreciated. My Grand Daughter liked it so much we kept refilling it with her snack packs during our stay (it was just the right height for her to easily grab a pack of goldfish). The location is fantastic and parking in St Augustine can be a real challenge but this home has a very nice sized driveway which also made loading and unloading a breeze. The outdoor area is all screened in and extremely comfortable and welcoming and the house is just beautiful. We will be booking this one again the first chance we get to return to St. Augustine.

Wonderful oasis

Great location. You can get to anywhere in less than 15 minutes. This is such a lovely house. Beautiful and historic. Restoration is so well done. You can tell a lot of thought and planning went into it. The pool area is fantastic. We very much enjoyed the pool and the outdoor dining. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again ourselves.

This property was amazing!! We had an absolutely wonderful time. The outdoor area was perfect the pool and hot tub were amazing. The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for the perfect vacation get away. To top it off the location was perfect close to shopping dinning and attractions without having to use a car. Will definitely be renting again and would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect stay

My wife and I stay often in St Augustine so knew the area we wanted to be in. Close enough to walk into old city but far enough outside to be away from everything when we are done for the evening. This house fit that bill perfectly. The house was amazing. Beautiful, clean, wonderful outside area with the pool, hot tub and outside sitting area, plenty of parking and was very close to so many of the restaurants we frequent. The host was very nice, always responded quickly and left a very nice welcome basket that we enjoyed very much. This is definitely our new go to place when we come down. Can’t recommend highly enough

You can't do better than this!

We are 3 couples that travel together every year and everyone agreed that this was the nicest place we have stayed! The home is beautiful! Everything was top notch.The kitchen had everything you could need. The pool area was awesome! We relaxed every day in the pool and hot tub. The walk to town was easy. There is so much to do nearby, we didn't need our cars and so nice to have the parking space! I don't think you could do better in St. Augustine!

Great stay in historic St. Augustine

This is a wonderful home in a great location for exploring the downtown area of St Augustine. We were able to walk to many attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We enjoyed having a pool, hot tub, and the outdoor area which was fully screened and also comfortably furnished in which to relax, grill, and dine alfresco. Inside, the large living-room and kitchen were great. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking needs. The bedrooms were good-sized and beds were comfortable. We appreciated that the property was pet friendly and accommodated our two small dogs. It was also great to have a large laundry room, stocked with detergent pods and all that was needed to do laundry. Check-in and check-out were easy and communication with host was great. The neighborhood was quiet and we had a wonderful stay!

Absolutely Fabulous

Possibly the best vacation rental in the old city of St Augustine. The house is beautiful with a large, well-equipped chef's kitchen. The outdoor space is fantastic, we loved sitting by the pool reading, grilling dinners and eating outside on warm nights. We were just a short walk over to St George St and to our favorite restaurants La Nouvelle and Old City Inn. The hosts were great, checking in to make sure everything was okay. All in all, we could not ask for a better place to spend the winter

Amazing home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It is in an amazing location, an easy walk to downtown St Augustine and all the fun attractions and restaurants. The home was incredibly clean and very comfortable. The back porch and pool area were a big hit with our group. BJ and Carolyn are wonderful hosts and the lovely welcome basket was such a sweet touch!

Wonderful home for a family vacation!!

Beautiful home with all amenities and very spacious for the family! We wanted to celebrate New Years week in St Augustine with the fireworks and activities and enjoyed learning the history of the town. There are so many fun adventures that kept us entertained all week. As well as being in the comfort of a home. Great find!

Awesome Xmas

The property is excellent. Everything works, fully equipped, every area of the house as everything needed. The pool / outside screened porch is amazing. For the season the house had Xmas ornaments, a gorgeous Xmas tree.. a real gem!! And Carolyn was the most helpful and kind host. She welcome basket full of goodies is such a nice touch. We will be back as soon as we can we fell in love with the place.

Perfect Vacation Home

Our host Carolyn and BJ really go out of their way to make the guest feel welcomed and pampered. This home is well appointed, we had everything we needed and more. The updates were tastefully done providing modern conveniences, yet keeping the integrity of a home built in 1887 by Henry Flagler. Our host had the home beautifully decorated for the holidays and provided a "Welcome Suitcase/Basket" for the guest which included 3D glasses that added an extra pizzazz to enjoy the Holiday Lights throughout the community.

Thanksgiving get-away

The property was lovely indoors and the outside space. It had plenty of space and was very comfortable. The location was perfect, you could get to downtown St Augustine in 10 minutes. The owners responded rapidly each I time I had questions. I would recommend this rental to big or small family's.. We will definitely rent again. It made for a perfect Thanksgiving.

Best place to stay in Downtown St Augustine

Beautiful historical oasis

We really enjoyed this home and appreciate the history as well as all the renovations and details they put into this property! The kitchen is amazing for entertaining, and there’s so much space throughout. The pool and hot tub is amazing also! But most importantly, I loved that this was walking distance into town! We were literally two blocks away. Everything from the linens, To the showers and the mattresses was super cozy! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Family Vacation

This house is the BEST home on Vrbo for St. Augustine! Big, clean, fun and friendly! The pool and hot tub are amazing! The location is perfect, you can walk to everything! It's perfect for a short or long stay! We are going back! Love it! We will be making this our Florida home!
